Growing my blog!

I have been really busy for the past MONTH! Reason why I haven't been posting on Fashion at its Fall.

From now on I will be doing my weekly posts. I love blogging but the only downfall is having trouble updating it all the time. I am working on new ways to blog from my mobile and new ways to pick up this blog! My blog has grew from when I first started off with 2 followers and now I'm almost down to my first 40. I know that's not a lot but i think its a big achievement from when i first started(at least for me). I want to start a few giveaways - as soon as i reach my first 100 followers. This will definitely be a new step to Fashion at its Fall.

Please do give my blog the support and follow! Tell your friends, family or anyone that loves reading about fashion or loves trying out new things. I am open to a variety of readers that have the same interests as me. It's so fun knowing how other girls interpret the word fashion in their everyday lives.

I want to start with more makeup posts and hair tutorials. I love YouTube and i am thinking about putting up a channel on YouTube. I really want to find new ways to grow and just show what i am capable of! What do you guys think of YouTube?

I put down a few ideas on paper the other night of how i should get this blogging hobby started:

Outfit of the day (OOTD) - of course it will be outfits i put together myself with my own wardrobe.
Picture tutorials - makeup or hair tutorials, i just want to do a bit of DIY.
Favorites - Every month i want to show you guys my favourite products i have been loving.
What's in my...? - bag, room or closet! This will be a fun post to write.

This is just a few ideas i have. There are many more i want to share but i think it's best to start off slowly and grow step by step with patience.

Come back again for REAL fashion posts. This was just a little introduction for upcoming improvements on Fashion at its Fall.

Leave a comment if you have any ideas! I am open to any advice. And don't forget to give this blog a follow! Hopefully in a few months we'll reach 100 followers.

Pop of Red

I love when people take fashion risks. It just shows how much confidence one can have when expressing themselves. Red is a colour that represents love, danger and has this elegant edginess when been worn.
Take a look at these examples of a pop of red. Remember to keep it as a statement piece and accessorise with neutrals or solid colours. You can also mix it up with some fun prints.

I love this headpiece! It matches with the simple makeup and red lip colour.

Try a fun blazer or cardigan. Layer and add a lot of jewels.

If you really want to take a fashion risk go for red streaks in your hair. They add a fun twist to any outfit.

I am a big fan of nail polish. Try different shades of red.

To make a really big statement wear an all black outfit with chunky red shoes. You will make a big pop.

Accessorise a colourless outfit with a red leather bag. Keeping it casual but adding in a bit of fashion.

This red shirt is perfect for summer. You can transition the shirt in the fall season under a coat.

Red lips are so perfect for the fall season. Find the perfect shade and match them to your nails.

Red bottoms look so fun to wear. There are so many ways to style this look. Maxi skirts or red jeans add a fun pop of red.

Fashion is everything. Red cars to red velvet cake.

Pictures are from here.
I hope this post helped. Let me know what you think in the comments below. xx

Mad for Plaid

This particular plaid derives from Scotland and is making a huge comeback in the fashion industry. From runways to street style I'm going to show you how to incorporate this alluring trend in your wardrobe.

 Take a look:

Here you can layer a denim shirt under an over sized plaid shirt.
Keeping it simple with a shirt and some gold accessories.
Mixing your plaids can be tricky. If you get the colours right, and accessorise with simple and solid colours, the outfit will make sense.
Mixing plaid with different textures like this denim cardigan with faux leather sleeves. Add a hat and heavy jewels for a more edgy look.
For a school girl inspired look add a crisp white shirt with black accents and simple jewelry.
Try a loose fitting plaid bottom and match colours within the print.
Take note of the full black accessories. Pairing the print with dark denim and black. Add accent touches like a hat and thick scarf.
You can incorporate the plaid print in your accessories like a bag or scarf.
I love how this one is paired! The dark jeans with printed designs match the colour of the shirt. Remember to always get your colours right.

This one has got to be my favourite. You can find a floral skirt and layer plaid with denim. Let the colours work together.

There are many ways to wear the plaid trend. Mix different textures and layer shirts.
I hope this post helped. Let me know what you think in the comments. xx

Street Style

"Street style has become just as major as the runway shows themselves." says Harpers Bazaar. There's some interesting and fun twist when walking the streets in your chic new shoes.
For today's post I am showing you guys the most inspirational, fashionable and on-trend street style from the streets itself. Take a look at a few pictures of my favourite street style looks. xx

I went for the fall theme because I love the fall fashion. It's one of my favourite seasons I look forward to every year.

I love the menswear inspired coat in the first look!
The pop of colour for fall always brightens up your face!
Black and white is my new favourite combination. Love the crisp white coat.
Adding a ribbon as a bow tie is a fun fashion way to add an accent to your look.
Comfy and warm, all the colours somehow work together.
Still keeping it trendy with a coral blazer.
One of my favourite looks. I love this haircut!
Layers keep you warm but they also add more fashion.
 I love this printed scarf.
Hope you enjoyed this blog post. I will be posting more in this coming week. Be sure to check this space again. xx
