DIY Eyelash Growth Serum | Fashion at its Fall

DIY eyelash growth serum growing long and thick eyelashes naturally
Hi Loves!
It's no secret that every woman lusts over long and thick lashes. For today's post I'm going to show you how to make an eye lash growth serum all by yourself. It's way better than purchasing expensive serums that don't really work. I found a few recipes on Pinterest but as I was reading through what each ingredient does for your lashes; I decided to combine these 3 ingredients and share it with you guys!
This is 100% natural and organic. I tried it a few nights ago and I've noticed a small but stronger difference. If you add this to your nighttime routine for a few weeks, I'm sure you'll see bigger results. I still use mine and I love it.
For this DIY serum you only are going to need 3 oils:
  • Coconut Oil
  • Castor Oil
  • Avocado Oil

Make sure these oils are organic. I popped into a local health store to purchase these oils. They were really inexpensive and easy to find.
You also going to need an empty container to store your serum. Just find something around your house and make sure it's clean.

Oils can get messy! I just used a funnel to avoid the mess.

The first ingredient is castor oil. Castor oil is thick oil filled with omega 9 fatty acids. This will thicken your lashes and prevent your lashes from falling out. Castor oil is non-toxic and won't harm your eyes.

Fill the container half way with castor oil.

The next ingredient is coconut oil. Coconut oil is cold pressed at room temperature. Which means in order to make it an oil we need to melt it. I just melted a spoonful on a pan. Don't put it in the microwave. The microwave will strip away its good stuff.

Once that's done just pour it into a bowl.

And fill up the other half of the container. Don't fill it to the top because there's one more ingredient to go.

Coconut oil is rich in vitamin E, which is necessary for strong and healthy lashes. Overall, this oil will lengthen and promote more hair growth.

The last and most essential oil for your eyelash growth serum is avocado oil. Avocado oil has an impressive amount of beauty benefits. Which is another reason I decided to include it into this serum.
Avocado oil has nourishing properties and is completely gentle on all skin types. It contains vitamin A, which promotes cell growth. This means that the blood flow is enhanced in your eyelash hair follicles.

Just fill up what's left in the container with avocado oil.

Give it a good shake and you all done. I prefer to use a disposable mascara wand when applying this to my lashes. You can use your fingers and rub it over your lash line to really work this serum in.

Until next time…
